Some clarification about Void Touch:
Void Touch can be resisted through two methods: Willpower and Force Resistance. Void Beings and those with Void Balance are immune to Void Touch.
Beyond those methods, Void Touch bypasses Mental Shielding, Thought Shield, etc.
While under the influence of Void Touch, players will be granted access to a separate RP in which they can fight the caster 1-v-1 (though the caster is buffed in this context, as they can control the mental plane around them, akin to Reality Warping - which scales to the skill in Void Touch). If they can defeat the caster in this mental plane, they can break free of the influence of Void Touch
This is where Willpower comes into play. The more Willpower a character has (if the Willpower system doesn't come into play, still use the rough metrics set out), the more influence they can exert on the realm, doing reality warping of their own to a level that can reach equal to that of the caster).
Of course, the player in question needs to figure out that they can control the realm around them first, leaving the caster more time to control them. Figuring this out must be done genuinely, and will be watched closely by the DM of the encounter. Willpower scales as follows:

Furthermore, if another player has one of the following abilities at a level higher than the affected person's Mental Shielding/Thought Shield, they can enter the mental plane to assist their ally (which they can also do via simply killing the caster). Those at EM can do this without concentration, and thus can fight the caster in reality and the Void Touch's mental plane at the same time. That said, this could be difficult when the Void Touch caster is making said ally attack you.

Furthermore, the Void Touch caster needs to control their thralls themselves. As such, those under their control are only as good as the caster knows their skillset and how to use it.
That said, the longer one is under the Singer's control, the more Singer can use them to their full potential.
If those under control die while under the influence of Void Touch, it does damage to the caster.
