Background: Bëeg Biran is a Master of the Jedi Order, as well as the Head of the Order's Research Division. As a result of his former master's stories from the High Republic Era, Master Biran helmed innovation and inquiry into new technologies, particularly mechanical aspects. His work served to improve galactic peace, ultimately transitioning to combat engineering with the emergence of the droid army during the Clone Wars. Following the Day of Chaos and subsequent refuge on the planet Tython, Biran began to adapt the pre-existing Old Republic Tythonian War Droids to new use.
Discovering a long forgotten artefact nestled below an Old Republic-era outpost on Tython, Master Biran and the Jedi Research Division started their new project. This artefact, a complex box with many mysteries stored away, could prove useful to the Jedi's efforts in time...

Weaknesses: Biran, while highly intelligent, is quite susceptible to charisma-based attacks on his mental faculties, lacking the social skills necessary to discern intentions and truth from encounters. As such, gaining an advantage over him through the faculties of lying and trickery, as well as subterfuge, is recommended. Another exploitable element is their morals. If one could put Biran in a position that would force him to violate the Jedi Code, it is likely he will back off; giving the aggressor the perfect time to strike. Somehow removing Brian’s lightsaber would be highly beneficial, removing their main form of offence and defence; and leaving them open.
