Name: Darth Sion

Rank: Sith Lord

Tier: Low 1

Background: Darth Sion was a Sith Marauder in Exar Kun’s Sith Empire during the Old Sith War. During one battle, he was hit by a killing blow; however, instead of dying, he called on his pain and anger. From this point on, using the Dark Side of the Force, he achieved near immortality.

After the war he joined Revan’s Sith Empire and witnessed its fall whilst on Korriban. He was later recruited by Darth Traya to join the Sith Triumvrate. Traya taught him and Nihilus a great deal. However, it was not long after that Sion and Nihilus overthrew Traya and severed her from the Force itself.

After overthrowing Traya, Sion and Nihlus proceeded to eliminate as many Jedi as possible, leading to the First Jedi Purge. Sion hunted Meetra Surik on Peragus ll by hijacking her cruiser, the Harbinger. Later clashing on Korriban, Surik was let go as Sion felt feelings not associated with the Dark Side for her. He later returned to Malachor V where Traya bent him to his will. Whilst awaiting to fight Surik, Sion found himself in the Universe of Prophecy.

Being thrust to a different time and place, the Lord of Pain adjusted extremely quickly to the Clone Wars, having lived over many lifetimes already. He later joined Count Dooku’s Confederacy of Independent Systems in the Clone Wars against the Galactic Republic. Sion participated in many battles and missions, such as the Mission to Rakata Prime and the Third Battle of Dromund Kass.
