Produces hyperdrive units, which are stored in the faction's hyperdrive stockpile and consumed when starfighters, transports, or capital ships are built. The player chooses what Class of hyperdrive to produce; lower Class numbers are faster and more expensive.

The Hyperdrive Foundry produces 50 hyperdrives per turn. The player specifies the Class of hyperdrive to one decimal place. Per-turn material consumption is calculated by formula (C is hyperdrive class):
Coaxium per turn = round(12 / C²)
Trimantium per turn = round(4 / C^0.7)
Tibanna per turn = round(3 / C^0.5)
Minimum 1 unit of each material per turn.
Lower Class numbers (faster hyperdrives) cost dramatically more.
Sub-Class-0.5 hyperdrives are theoretically buildable but consume astronomical Coaxium quantities.
