Name: Niko'lai

Rank: New Jedi Order Padawan

Tier: Middle 3

Background: Niko’lai was kidnapped as a child and raised by slavers. He, along with many other stolen children, was forced into deplorable conditions and subjected to the brutality of his captors. Niko’lai spent the first twelve years of his life surviving in this space, learning the tricks of the trade and keeping the other kids safe. This hellish situation was only broken when a Jedi knight destroyed the slaving group and rescued the surviving children, bringing Niko’lai to the Jedi Order in the process.

Niko’lai had trouble adjusting to the serene peace of the Jedi Temple and buried himself in lessons and lectures, seeking to keep himself busy and distracted. After spending several years on Yavin Niko’lai was picked up by A’Sharad Hett and became his padawan.

Weaknesses: Niko’lai has an extremely survivalistic nature, willing to compromise moral and mission to save himself and those he deems important to save. This attitude makes him not only extremely manipulatable, but also highly vulnerable to the Dark Side under the watch of a skilled manipulator. Niko’lai also relies on his instincts and habits quite often, being a headstrong individual. One should attempt to lead him into traps or situations where more conclusive thought is required; as he will not be as favoured in situations such as those.
