Name: RC-6008 "Goober"

Rank: Sergeant

Tier: Low 2

Background: CT-6008, later known as RC-6008 or "Goober", was a a clone trooper sergeant and later republic commando in the Grand Army of The Republic. Originally, he was created as a standard infantry clone trooper on Kamino in the year 32 BBY. After his training was completed, he was assigned to the 41st Elite Corps as part of System Army Alpha. Quickly rising to the rank of sergeant, Goober displayed skills useful for special forces work and was chosen to be crosstrained as a Republic Commando. After undergoing his cross-training, he was inserted into H.O.P.E. Squad.

Sometime after Goober was assigned as H.O.P.E squad's leader, a fellow squadmate Tex deserted from the GAR and attempted to convince the other members of the squad to join him. His attempt was ultimately fruitless, and Goober and the rest of H.O.P.E. led a manhunt down to the lower levels of Coruscant where Tex had fled. The manhunt ended in abject failure due to a lack of communication between the republic commandos of Arca Company and Covert Ops operatives leading to fire being exchanged between the two groups, as well as the timely intervention of a mysterious Mandalorian which ensured Tex's escape. This series of events led to Tex hating his squad for attempting to hunt him down, which took a large toll on Goober, forcing him to cope with his failure. Despite this, he would later assist in saving Arca Barracks by defusing explosive charges that were planted by a rogue commando.

Late in 20 BBY, Goober was assigned to a joint-SPFC mission to the separatist planet Olanet. The objective was to sabotage the Separatist factory on the planet and reduce the quality of the droids being produced, as well as to find schematics for new developmental separatist droids. The mission was ultimately a success, and shortly after his return to Arca Barracks, Goober was contacted by his Cuy'val Dar, Evaar'la Mereel, to depart to Mandalore.

Weaknesses: Despite his agility, areas like the shoulder plate reduce mobility, and as such, attacking from high angles could be prudent. Furthermore, Goober is less able with conventional weaponry. Finding a way to disable his standard weapons and forcing him to find other ones would be highly effective, given his lesser skill in general weaponry. Finding a way to detonate the explosives packs on his person would be highly effective, given it would make him explode. Applying an electric shock or Mechu Deru to his vibroblade could short it out and electrocute him. And despite greater agility, this does not equate to sleight of hand. Goober still takes time to change the attachments of the DC-17M, and these windows of opportunity should be exploited. Typically, Goober’s goal is to get his squad out alive, being its leader; and this emotional weakness can be exploited to great effect.
