Name: Halcyon Limia
Rank: N/A
Tier: Middle 1
Background: Halcyon Lamia is a Natque assassin and spymaster born into a family of covert operatives on Prageb. Despite being a runt by Natque standards, thin and barely six feet tall, her exceptional speed caught the attention of her mother, the planet's most skilled spy and assassin, who personally trained her while simultaneously manipulating and psychologically controlling her through calculated cruelty, isolation from siblings, and expert use of punishment and reward. Shaped into a obedient tool through years of psychological abuse, Halcyon was eventually presented by her mother to King Avon as the perfect assassin and spy, a way to curry favour while implanting a loyal operative into the kingdom's ranks.
Rising through the ranks from field operative to Spymaster of New Anthom while still young, Halcyon operated publicly as a simple maid to the king while secretly running a massive spy network during the escalating war between the Cheludo and Hou kingdoms. She mastered the art of using people as expendable tools, much like her mother had used her, convincing herself it was necessary evil for the greater good as she stopped pausing to grieve for fallen agents. King Avon personally trained her in combat techniques he felt she lacked before sending her on a critical mission to recruit the mysterious operative known as Gorgon. After a brief scuffle and explanation, Gorgon agreed to assist, with Halcyon serving as his point of contact for numerous covert strikes throughout the war. She briefly returned home to recruit several of her sisters, forming an elite operative group to work alongside Gorgon in striking at the Hou from the shadows.
During one operation against a Hou fortress, disaster struck when an inexplicable wildfire consumed the building. While Gorgon narrowly escaped to rejoin Cheludo forces, Halcyon and her sisters were trapped and surrounded by Hou soldiers. Without the elements of surprise and stealth, the battle became a slaughter, all her sisters were killed while Halcyon was captured alive and brought to a Hou staging post, where she would remain imprisoned for over a year.
The Hou scientists subjected Halcyon to nightmarish experimentation aimed at unlocking recessive Natque genes to create supersoldiers. Her body was drastically mutated, growing larger and stronger, through systematic torture, combat drug injections, and forced gladiatorial testing against both Hou soldiers and Cheludo prisoners. Her limbs were repeatedly severed and reattached to stimulate natural regeneration as her body slowly adapted to the horrific procedures. When the war ended, the promising but now-obsolete project was dismantled, and Halcyon, transformed into an extremely violent test subject, was sold to a local mafia to distance the Hou from their creation. The mafia exploited her new abilities as an enforcer, controlling her through adrenaline stimulation that triggered the combat drugs now produced within her own blood. Her salvation would eventually come through Prince Simia and Tarre Vizsla, two people her trauma-shattered mind could no longer recognize or remember.

Weaknesses: Within combat, a lot of Halcyon’s tactical thinking and precision falls away due to the battle stimulants that are pumping through her system. Not only does this lower her mental shielding to that of Proficient, but it also makes her extremely susceptible to traps and manipulation. Halcyon prefers sneak attacks, and will always default to such subterfuge when able. As such, direct and continuous combat should throw her off somewhat, as well as any ability that allows one to detect her in the shadows. On a short term basis, Halcyon’s regeneration is limited to that of Mid-Low, and thus one should aim to cause significant amounts of damage, even if one is not going in for the kill. Destroying her brain is a critical way to ensure she is defeated for good. Halcyon’s biological adaptation is mostly limited to stimuli, and this should mostly be seen as one of Environmental Conditioning, not a combat ability. Lastly, Halcyon has lost her memories and thus has no real allegiance, meaning that under particular contexts of manipulation, one can achieve great success.
