Name: House Vizsla

Background:  Originally named Clan Vizla, Clan Vizsla was formed shortly before the Great Galactic War by a pair of siblings- Shae Vizla, and her brother, Kaine Vizla. The two arrived on teh planet at a young age, and as such, were trained as proper Mandalorians, and swiftly made a name for themselves as skilled up and coming mercenaries who were willing to take any job.

As the two's infamy grew, more fellow Mandalorians formed around them, becoming such that they could call themselves a Clan. Still taking any jobs from the highest bidder, they were known to be somewhat amoral in conduct until the passing of Kaine to the hands of the Jedi Master Aurei Eadon during a raid gone awry on a Republic vessel.

Following this, Shae tried to settle down on Tracyn island, Rishi. She couldn't stay out of the game for long, as the Mandalorians began to fight once more in the upcoming wars, and Shae would be forced to take the throne of Mandalore for herself after the passing of Mandalore the Vindicated.

Now known as Mandalore the Avenger, she saw the next wars through, and tried to atone for her earlier life with her tenure as Mand'alor. Unfortunately, much of her early exploits stayed infamous throughout the Clan, shaping their development into Clan Vizsla.

A fierce warrior clan, they took after their creators, and would then on become infamous as one of Mandalore's most aggressive clans. Until from their ranks, Tarre Vizsla was born.

Tarre Vizsla, later dubbed Mandalore the Divine, was recognized as a force sensitive at birth, and in a bizarre move, allowed him to be trained by the Jedi in his youth. Having been taken in at a later age, he was aware of his heritage, but was dutiful as a Jedi until the end of the New Sith Wars, in which he fought as a Jedi General.

Tarre later returned to Mandalore following the wars end, taking control of the Clan as he was the son of the previous head, and tried to mould them with the morals he had learnt as a Jedi. Decades passed, and though a resounding Mand'alor, his clan resented him for his pacifistic views when he reached his middle age.

Disheartened by the state of things, Tarre then also formed the Mandalorian Protectors to keep the peace, partially modeling their code with influence from the Jedi. Similarly, he also made a small number of lightsabers for their members.

After Vizsla's passing, his remains and items were recovered by the Jedi Order, including his Darksaber- A totally unique lightsaber of Tarre's design. Enraged by this, Clan Vizsla raided the Jedi Temple, and in doing so caught the eye of both the Republic and the other Clans, both infuriated by the move that was purely for political power.

Ultimately though defeated and kept from taking the throne for themselves completely, they still kept the beloved passed Mand'alor's lightsaber, which became a legendary item in the millennia passing. They commonly became Mand'alors who fought wars of expansion until Jaster Mereel took the throne, in spite of his not owning neither the Darksaber or Mask of Mandalore.

Threatened by Jaster's proposed reforms as a lawman, the then head of Clan Vizsla, Tor Vizsla, waged open war against the Mand'alor, using his ownership of the Darksaber to rally the clans who still believed in conquest behind him.

This sparked what would be later dubbed the Mandalorian Civil War, which eventually resulted in both Mereel and Vizsla's passings as casualties, and Jango Fett taking the throne as Jaster's student and adopted son. After these catastrophic losses, Clan Vizsla was banished to their home world of Concordia and not to be allowed on Mandalore again, where they brooded and ploted for the next seventeen years, until 22 BBY.

Pre Vizsla, Tor's student, would later recover the Darksaber, and reform the defunct Deathwatch in the dark, waiting for Fett's passing before remerging out of fear of the scorned Mand'alor. Pre would then wage war with the pacifistic New Mandalorians and the other Old Mandalorians who followed Jaster's ways, with both sides taking ownership of the throne at different points.

Now, Clan Vizsla is lead by HaVoK Vizsla, whom they despise behind his back for leaving them in the dust, and seeing them merely as muscle to be used, to much irony considering their history.

Speed: +1 level to Combat Speed due to being a house

Abilities:

Perk: Only the Strongest Can Rule

Equipment: No equipment change

Weaknesses: Cocky and arrogant fighters. Easily led into a trap where they believe they can succeed in a fight. Always try to best the strongest opponent around.

Members of House Vizsla are battered, with all of their attempts to rising to prominance gone with the death of Pre Vizsla and HaVoK's separation from Mandalorian affairs. Reminding them of their place is likely to set them off completely; and as such, should be used in a combat encounter where possible. Members of House Vizsla are not as good aerially, and thus should be engaged from this angle where possible. The House has a heavy-handed belief that only the strongest can rule the House and Mandalore, and thus can be potentially convinced to back down in the sight of an extremely strong opponent.
