Name: Celeste Morne
Name: Celeste Morne
Rank: N/A
Tier: Low 1
Background: Celeste Morne was a Human female Jedi Master who served the Jedi Covenant as a Covenant Shadow, an agency that consisted of Jedi whose identities were erased from the Order's records. She dedicated herself to the Covenant's cause after the loss of her home and family ties in the Great Sith War. In 3963 BBY the Covenant assigned Morne a mission to retrieve the Muur Talisman, an artifact owned generations prior by the Sith Lord Karness Muur that gave the wearer control over the mutant rakghoul creatures. Furthermore, Morne was tasked to bring fugitive Padawan Zayne Carrick to justice. Over the course of her mission, however, she came to doubt Carrick's culpability in the Padawan Massacre of Taris, for which he had been implicated by the members of the First WatchCircle of the Covenant.
As she fought through the obstructions to her mission, including the unexpected outbreak of the Rakghoul Plague on the planet Jebble and her own doubts about Carrick, Morne fell under the possession of the Muur Talisman. In order to protect the galaxy from herself, Morne allowed Carrick to seal her in Dreypa's Oubliette. Sometime after this, the Oubliette was moved to Aridus through unknown means. Morne remained there in stasis until 20 BBY, when she was awoken by the CIS Explorers and the 415th Exploratory Corps. The first face she saw upon waking was Leslie, a Mandalorian, and the sight broke her composure. In that moment of weakness, Muur took over.
Under the full possession of the ancient Sith Lord, Morne unleashed the Rakghoul Virus upon Aridus. The victory was short-lived. The arrival of Kára Volshe and the Fungus infection she carried dragged both Morne and Muur into a horrific battle within the Fungus' mental scape, one in which Morne was forced to forge a temporary alliance with her own possessor.
The two were defeated, falling under the influence of the Fungus Keymind, but were released from that control once Kára Volshe departed the planet, with their freedom further cemented by the death of the central mind on Naboo. However, the lingering effects of the infection proved profound. It damaged the Force bond between the Talisman and Morne, and it left permanent changes in the former Jedi's body after the Fungus attempted to convert her into a new Keymind before being destroyed.
This allowed Morne to claw back some measure of control from Muur, weakening him further at a moment when the Sith Lord was already splitting his power to fuel the dark crystal within the Aridus Temple. The opening was enough. Morne was defeated by the Alpha ARC Commando Epsilon, and the Talisman was finally removed after nearly four thousand years. She came to within Arca Barracks on Coruscant expecting to find herself free of Muur and the dark side at last. Instead, the dark side called to her in a far greater capacity than before.
Her inability to turn away from it, the result of the sheer mental damage inflicted upon her over millennia, forced Jedi Master Atris, Director of the Republic's Special Forces, to place her into stasis until her mental state could perhaps be reversed. Morne remained trapped once again, until her rescue by Darth Malgus, Malak, and their Sith party during the Raid of Arca Barracks.
She now finds herself travelling alongside Malak and Stef, both because she owes them her life, but also because she has no other choice.

Weaknesses: Celeste is still recovering from her atrophying in stasis, as well as her separation from the Muur Talisman, on a physical basis. Until this process has been completed, she suffers extensive stamina issues, alongside exhibiting a strength level below average. Celeste, politely, is a complete mental wreck. Thanks to her endless exposure to Karness Muur, Morne suffers from occasional bouts of temporary insanity, a state which can be exploited by a mindful combatant. Beyond this, Celeste suffers from unfathomable degrees of mental trauma. If one could successfully perform Dun Moch on her, she is likely to have a complete mental breakdown or fly off the handle. In fact, in a combat encounter, it is possible Celeste may be distracted or space-out, which should be exploited. Her fight against the Fungus Keymind has been suppressed in her mind, and if one could unearth it or force her to remember, they would completely shut her down mentally from trauma.
