Name: Clan Saxon

Background:  Clan Saxon were originally a mercenary group shortly before the New Sith Wars. Rapidly growing in size as the Wars continued to profiteer off the need for mercenaries on the side of the Republic. They'd swiftly grow wealthy from the spoils of war and republic pay, and by the Wars ending now stood as a medium sized Clan.

After the War's end, Clan Saxon declared War on House Vizsla for their attempt to monopolize and permanently seat themselves on the Throne of Mandalore, creating the now ebiquitous grenadier class to blow through their ranks. Their efforts proved partially successful, as they kept Clan Vizsla from permanently seating themselves, however with the Darksaber's influence they were common Mand'alors in the next thousand years.

By 60 BBY, Clan Saxon's horde of wealth from the days of the Old Republic grew thin, now relying on looting to stay afloat as they did once before. However, this way of life was threatened by Jaster Mereel's reformations with the Supercommando Codex, and as such they let by gones be by gones and teamed up with House Vizsla as the two initial Clans behind the Deathwatch.

Clan Saxon, however, were methodical with it, allowing House Vizsla to take all the glory, not boasting should it go south- To which it did. Clan Saxon thus escaped much of their bad press due to keeping their involvement in forming the group hidden, but incurred the anger of House Vizsla for doing so- The House stripping much of their rented lands on Concordia from the Clan in retribution.

Now, Clan Saxon is lead by the disgraced Gar Saxon, who works on cleaning the Clan's image and history after the assumed death of his son, as a way of mourning the loss.
