Name: CC-1998 "Tex"

Rank: Operational Commander

Tier: Middle 3

Background: CC-1998, otherwise known as "Tex", was a clone Operational Commander that lead the Shield Brothers of the Republic, the Republic's defence force for key, strategic worlds. He was the only clone known to hold this rank, putting him on equivalent authority as the Jedi High Council.

Previously, Tex was a Clone Commander in the Clone Garrison and was in charge of both Coruscant Guard and Hells Hammer Expeditionary Force, known for his role as Coruscant Guard Commander and/or being a very effective Sniper. Tex on several occasions has been the face of Coruscant Guard in the media while being interviewed on problems he and his men have to deal with. Several Clone Commanders who work with him have noted that he isn't afraid to arrest his own men should it come to it.

Speed: Low D Combat Speed

Abilities: Mastery with Stun Batons, Sniper Rifles, and Shield Combat. Highly Proficient in Rocket Launchers. Proficient in Throwables, Jetpacks, Survival Skills, and Blaster Pistols. Skilled in Blaster Rifles, Basic Hand-to-Hand Combat, Mental Shielding, and Blaster Cannons.

Equipment: DC-17; DC-15A; Proficient with DC-15S Carbine; Skilled with DP-23 shotgun; 6 thermal detonators, 2 EMP grenades; Utility Belt with: Ammunition, Grappling Hook, Basic Medical Supplies, Multitool; Shock Trooper Armour; Riot Shield; Stun Baton; DC-15X.

Weaknesses: Tex is held back by traumatic experiences, and reminding him of those will cause him to falter, slipping into a poor mindset. In this, his moves will be slow, sluggish, and openly telegraphed; allowing a smart combatant to pick him apart easily. Tex follows orders to the absolute letter, and is not able to think much outside of the box, being an obedient soldier. Placing him in a position where his mission objectives are ambiguous or countered could make him show poor performance or even be unable to carry out the mission in the correct manner. One could tear off Tex’s cybernetic arm, or disable it with an EMP, making him extremely open to attack.
