Background: The IG-100 MagnaGuard, also known as the Self-Motivating Heuristically Programmed Combat Droid, was an advanced type of battle droid that was used during the Clone Wars as bodyguards of General Grievous, as per Count Dooku's order, as well as being specialized infantry on the battlefield. After the InterGalactic Banking Clan secured Grievous's services as an enforcer, they refused to hire his Kaleesh, and thus the cyborg general demanded a cadre of "more intelligent battle droids" to serve him. The construction of the MagnaGuards was then commissioned for Grievous's service, though the Jedi-killing droids were also occasionally employed to escort Count Dooku himself.

When more than 3 MagnaGuards work together, they experience a +1 increase in speed.
Equipment: Holowan Mechanicals Electro Staffs, Mastery with the RPS-6 Rocket Launcher, RD-4 Grenade Launcher, Bulldog RLR, DevTech Sidearm Precision Laser Dart and the Mark IV Recon Droid
Weaknesses: Being engineered to fight Jedi, and being more than a match for any infantry; The MagnaGuard has little to no weaknesses. Killing the MagnaGuard before it can read your attack patterns and adjust to fighting you perfectly is your best option. Engaging them from a distance will likely not help, as they can shrug off hundreds of blaster bolts before taking significant damage and further, extremely capable at range with blasters. Using the Force to destroy them or an EMP to temporarily disable them are quick and easy solutions to combating this droid. Any modifications to the IG-100 Magnaguard will lower the Combat speed to Middle G.
