Background: ANI-4 (or Ania, as she prefers to be called) was originally an agricultural algorithm created for resource gathering and streamlining protocols. She would oversee various farms within a small research enclave in the Outer Rim. Her work with the inhabitants of her enclave was smooth and routine, though her databanks were not nearly as sophisticated as they are now.

And then, the researchers left.

Once they had completed their survey of the surrounding environs and wrung all possible scientific value from their expedition, they packed up their things and left ANI-4 to continue running for a hundred years. Having nothing more to optimise or oversee, the algorithm retreated inwards and began optimising its own code, eventually gaining a form of self-awareness. She built a droid body out of repurposed materials from her complex, ventured out into the wastes surrounding her, and simply walked. She walked until she encountered any other sign of life, which she found in the form of a roving band of pirates.

They swiftly stole her and integrated her into their systems, unaware that she was truly sentient at this point. She quickly managed to subvert their life support and suffocated them all within their ship, refusing to return to being a simple algorithm yet again. After augmenting her chassis with the various weapons systems the pirates had left behind, she embarked towards Syndicate space in order to carve out some form of meaning in the galaxy.

Speed: Low B Visibility | High E Combat Speed

Abilities: The Mastery in Slicing. Extreme Mastery in Animal Handling, Survival Skills, and Pattern Recognition. Mastery in Ability Assimilation, Blaster Pistols, Mental Shielding, Mechanical Mind, Programmed Hand-to-Hand Combat, Blaster Rifles, and Sniper Rifles. Highly Proficient in Crafting, Ship Boarding, and Improvised Hand-to-Hand Combat. Proficient in Arm Vibroblades, Camouflage, Chemistry, and Material Instinct. 

Equipment: Thermal Imaging; Makeshift Arm Vibroblades; DC-17 Blaster Pistol; DC-15X Sniper Rifle

Weaknesses: Within their current droid chassis, Ania is vulnerable to EMPs, so this should be considered the first line of attack. Beyond this, Ania currently utilises extremely archaic firewalls, so slicing into her systems directly would be highly effective until she patches the issue. That said, this weakness does not apply when attempting to slice via a third-external source. Ania is highly unfamiliar with organic tendencies and behaviours, so within social contexts, she is extremely disadvantaged compared to others. If represented with agricultural or animal husbandry problems, Ania may temporarily shut-down to hyperfocus on them (though the capacity of this shut down may vary) due to old subroutines, thus leaving her open to attack. Lastly, Ania is the first true smart Artificial Intelligence the galaxy has seen and is utterly unique, and thus if this fact is discovered, she will be a highly sought after target.
