The Pyke Syndicate can automatically upgrade their lower tier units to higher tier ones upon unlocking the like, without having to worry about cost or population cap.
For example, the Pyke Syndicate can upgrade a Transport to a Starfighter for no cost if they wish. Or a Tier 3 Mandalorian to a Tier 2 Mandalorian.
