Name: The Fourth Brother

Rank: Inquisitor

Tier: Middle 1

Background: The Fourth Brother, true identity unknown, was a member of the Imperial Inquisitorius in the years surrounding the Galactic Civil War. As rumors go, the Fourth Brother had been among the ranks of Count Dooku's Dark Acolytes during the Clone Wars, and was captured by the Jedi as the conflict neared its end. Due to his extremely dangerous nature as a prisoner, he was put into extended stasis by the Jedi, who would later be wiped out by the Republic's forces during Order 66.

During the Republic's reorganization into the Galactic Empire, the Fourth Brother would not be among the first group of force users that would come to make up the Imperial Inquisitorius, instead remaining lost in stasis for many years, until the point of Emperor Palpatine's disappearance in the year 3 ABY. Some time after Darth Vader filled the vacuum in power that Sidious had left and declared himself Galactic Emperor, the Fourth Brother would finally be located in his stasis as a result of the wide-sweeping organizational changes that Vader had instituted.

After being transferred to Imperial custody and brought back to consciousness, the Fourth Brother was put through the rigorous inquisitor selection process by The Grand Inquisitor and Darth Vader. It was determined that he was a rather impulsive being, acting on his own whims and desires as he saw fit. Regardless, believing that a position in the Empire would provide great opportunity to fulfill his goals, the Fourth Brother would quickly fall in line and be accepted into the ranks of the Inquisitorius. As a precaution, Vader would order The Grand Inquisitor to keep a close eye on the Fourth Brother for any hint of treachery.

During his time in the Empire, the Fourth Brother would grow in strength significantly with his training; and would often engage in brutal duels with his fellow Inquisitors during downtime, an activity that their superiors disapproved of due to the injured state that all involved would often leave in. Strangely, the Fourth Brother tended to exhibit much less ambition in terms of rank than his fellow Inquisitors, content to remain at his station as long as there were targets to eliminate.

Weaknesses: The Fourth Brother is very much driven by his own wants and desires, prioritizing them over everything else; including the Empire. Knowing this, one could attempt to manipulate him into acting against his superiors under the guise of his own interests, though the success of this is not guaranteed. Fourth Brother will take any opportunity to inflict agony upon his enemies, and is almost guaranteed to intentionally draw out a combat scenario before going for the kill if he believes he has the upper hand. Additionally, he will rarely bring support with him for any engagement, much preferring to dominate an enemy in single combat. The Fourth Brother’s strength scales upwards to the strength of his opponent through Consume Essence, a mechanic that could be exploited by a clever combatant in various ways, one of which being tightly employed mental control of one’s emotions.
