Background: The Dark Acolytes were the shadowy cult of fallen Jedi that came under the sway of a renowned former Jedi Master, the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus, and were aligned with the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.
Gathered and recruited by Count Dooku, who was secretly the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Tyranus, the Dark Acolytes served the Confederacy of Independent Systems and functioned as anything from assassins to spies to civilian commanders, depending on individual vocations, but all operated first and foremost as the Dark Lord's enforcers. Most of the members would become casualties of the war, but have seen re-emergence since Tyranus created his own Sith Order.

Weaknesses: Dark Acolytes are the most arrogant creatures there are. Anyone who has a good sense of battle preparation can easily manipulate a scenario to exploit this arrogance, baiting the Acolyte into a situation where they are surely to be defeated. Furthermore, the Dark Acolytes have 0 loyalty to each other, all seeking the next promotion. A skilled manipulator can turn them against each other to the point of bloodshed, and even situations where this promotional opportunity presents itself can cause the massacre.
