Name: Kára Volshe

Rank: Dark Lady of the Sith

Tier: High 3

Background: Kára Volshe was a Force-sensitive human-Vahlan female. She was born in 44 BBY in Keren, Naboo. She served as a physician in the Grand Army of the Republic, specifically the 415th Exploratory Corps (RP), before joining the Ember of Vahl and taking the position as a Chosen of Vahl. She then departed the Republic for the Confederacy, taking a position as Director of the Confederacy’s Diplomatic Corps, as well as a Sith Lord.

She was a reincarnation of Vahl, also known as the Sorceress of Ambria: a powerful witch-queen and Jen’ari (Dark Lord of the Sith) who reigned over both Sith and Vahla upon the world of Ambria and its surrounding space, and was also one of the twelve Dark Jedi that instigated the Hundred Year Darkness. She had been presumed obliterated upon her failed immortality ritual, her spirit partly imbued into the planet of Ambria itself and as shards.

She is partly aware of her prior identity due to Arye Prays, the living exiles, and the events of Aridus, but has not re-acquired her full memories of her time as Vahl, and perhaps never will.

Weaknesses: Volshe is extremely unstable due to the loss of her adopted son, and taunting her over it would certainly cause her to become unbalanced. This further extends to her schizophrenia, where upon occasion and under the right circumstances, she can slip into an untethered rage; something which should be exploited by a mindful combatant. The amulet she wears, while powerful, does have drawbacks. Those higher than Extreme Mastery in Energy Based abilities can overwhelm her outright, and the amulet itself makes her slightly more sluggish, something that can eventually be exploited in a combat scenario and makes her less on guard most of the time. Furthermore, each use of the amulet drains the same amount of energy regardless of the energy amount it absorbed, so at some point, the battle of attrition will go in a combatant’s favour and one can put her down.
